Battle of the Books is a popular event where students are asked questions about several books they've read. The fun yet challenging event helps students with recall and comprehension and promotes literacy.

Did you know that Williams has eBooks that your children can read online through Destiny Follett Shelf or download to your own device: tablet, phone, etc.  Students in grades fourth and fifth have been instructed on how to access these books from the Destiny site

Easy steps to follow:

  1. Go to Destiny

  2. Make sure you are on the Williams page

  3. Scroll to the middle of the Home Page to eBooks and click on the link

  4. Or, Click on the Catalog tab at the top of the Destiny home page

  5. Click on the Follett Shelf button located on the left side of the screen

  6. Students must use the same username and password that they use to place Holds on books to get into the eBook site.

  7. Choose a book and click on it to Open

  8. Read

  9. Close or check out

     

    If you want to enjoy eBooks with your students in grades kindergarten-third call, e-mail, or visit the library to get a Username and Password for your student.  We would be happy to get you started.
