Governor orders "Stay at Home;" Links to food services and support offered

Mattoon Community Unit School District 2 is following Illinois Governor JB Pritzker’s extension of closure of Illinois schools until April 30.  The district will be on spring break from April 6 until April 13. At this time, Mattoon students and staff will begin remote learning April 14. 

All events, games, practices are canceled until further notice.

Mattoon Community Unit School District 2’s spring break is April 6-April 3.  Breakfast and lunch will be served to anyone 18 or younger. Complete the following form to participate:




Families are asked to complete the following survey to share how instructional materials can be delivered.  Specific lesson plans for remote learning will be shared with parents by the end of the day on Friday, April 3.

Mattoon Community Unit School District 2 will continue supporting students and their families during the COVID-19 closure. Please use the link below to access the information, which will be continually updated. As a reminder, none of this work will be used for grading purposes; however, we are happy to partner with you for your child's continued learning
