Yearbook asking MHS students confined at home to share photos

Attention Mattoon High School students and family. Your yearbook staff needs photos! Please read the following message from yearbook adviser Ashley Manning:

Hello all MHS students and parents and guardians:

Greetings from the MHS Riddle yearbook staff. The COVID-19 virus has disrupted a lot of activities for students across the nation: sports, club activities, plays, and our time spent with our peers and teachers in class. While this time may be difficult, the yearbook staff wants to make the best of this situation. Let’s document the memories we are making at home, so we can remember this pivotal moment in time.

We would love to get as many students pictured in the yearbook as possible, but we need your help! We are asking that you send in pictures of whatever you are doing to get through this time: watching a movie, working out at home, working at your job, taking a walk, doing school work, taking care of your siblings, cuddling your pet, learning to cook, doing chores, reading, Facetiming your friends, etc…

Please help us keep this yearbook alive with meaningful content!

Send your photos to the MHS yearbook email at: mhsriddle@mcusd2.com or you can text your photos to (217) 460-0737 if that’s easier. You can also contact Mrs. Manning via email at: ashleymanning@mcusd2.com

Please share this message, so we can get the word out to as many people as possible!

Thank you for your help!
