Franklin Preschool welcomed families for an evening of fun and connection during its Family Night on March 26, 2026. The carnival-themed event brought together 256 attendees, representing 77 families from the school community.
Planned and organized by the Franklin Preschool Parent Advisory/Lighthouse Team, the event featured a variety of games, prizes, snacks, and door prizes. Families had the opportunity to engage in activities designed to create a welcoming and festive atmosphere while strengthening connections between home and school.
The evening was made possible through the generous support of local businesses and community organizations. These partners contributed in a variety of ways, including hosting game stations, donating prizes, and providing financial support for event materials and giveaways. Participating sponsors included the Mattoon Public Library, Douglas Hart Nature Center, Sarah Bush Lincoln, Girl Scouts, YMCA, Phoenix Elite, Water’s Auto Body, Pro Rehab Physical Therapy, Whitney Roofing, At Home Automation, and Harris Company.
