At the 9/13 board meeting, Franklin Preschool shared a recent state-level recognition of being presented with the Gold Circle of Quality based on recent monitoring visits this past spring. In a letter received by the district from ISBE the recognition comes from the premier early childhood organization in Illinois called ExceleRate Illinois. ExceleRate provides standards, guidelines, resources, and supports to assist early childhood programs to lead to better quality outcomes. The Gold Circle of Quality is the highest recognition a school can receive and Franklin Preschool is the only preschool in Coles County to currently hold that recognition. This recognition should allow for more grant and funding opportunities.
