Mattoon Rotary recognizes one senior male and female each month at their luncheon as Students of the Month. Students are nominated by MHS staff based on outstanding academic achievement and citizenship.
For May, the honorees were Jackson Allen and Kacey Ramage.
Jackson, son of Mark Allen, has been actively involved in ROTC. He has served as Battalion Commander, as well as on the Raider and Drill Team. His future plans are to attend University of Illinois-Urbana/Champaign, majoring in Psychology, he will also be enrolled in the ROTC program at the U of I.
Kacey, daughter of Jay and Laura Ramage, played all four years of Volleyball at MHS. Her future plans include attending Saint Mary of the Woods College, majoring in Early Childhood Education and continuing her Volleyball career.
MHS is proud to celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of Jackson and Kacey. Congratulations to both on this well-deserved recognition!
