Mattoon High School welcomed families for its annual Open House on August 20, giving parents and guardians an opportunity to visit the school, meet teachers and learn more about their students’ school day.
The evening began with a welcome and introduction in the main gymnasium before families visited classrooms and met with their students’ teachers. Counselors were also available to share grade level resources and answer questions.
Families had the opportunity to learn more about the courses, activities and support available to students while becoming more familiar with the people and spaces that make up the MHS school experience.
Thank you to the MHS staff, students and families who helped make the evening a great start to the school year.
