MHS will be hosting its first College & Career Readiness Night on Tuesday, October 12th from 6-7 in the MHS Cafeteria. Students will have the opportunity to learn about grade level info from MHS Counselors, as well as Off Campus dual credit opportunities offered here at MHS. We will also have Colleges/Universities, as well as career professions from the community represented as well.
Colleges/Universities include: EIU, LLC, SIU-C, McKendree, U of I (Urbana/Champaign), Illinois College, and Indiana State University.
We have representatives from LLC TRiO, a great support for students who are college bound.
ISAC Outreach and LLC Financial Aid reps will also be available to students and families to help navigate the cost of going to college.
Major Todd Baughman will be available to talk to parents and students about a great scholarship opportunity available through EIU-ROTC.
Career Professions representatives include: SBLHS Surgery Center, Douglas Hart, Sports Management and Kinesiology, Attorney, Careers in Special Ed, Careers in Ag, Careers in Finance.
