On Wednesday, October 20th the SkillsUSA Officer, Shayla Carter and Lance Chaney, actively participated in the 2021 Elevate: SkillsUSA Chapter Officer Development Virtual Conference. The officers worked collaboratively on creating a Program of Work (POW) for our chapter. The POW works on incorporating Community Engagement, Leadership Development, Financial Management, Advocacy and Marketing, Work Place Experience, Partnerships and Alumni Engagement. This November/December SkillsUSA members will give back to the community by writing cards for the elderly in nursing homes and children in the hospital.
