The Birth to 3 Program is hosting a summer Parent Education event on Wednesday, July 5th from 9-10 AM. There will be a special guest speaker. The event will take place at the LIFT Building. Free childcare is available.


This year's Freshman Icebreaker will be held on Thursday, August 10th from 10:30 AM to 1 PM at MHS. Students can participate in a practice schedule, find their lockers, and learn about Wavetime. This event is a great way for 9th graders to get to know their teachers and student mentors. There will also be a scavenger hunt, team-building activities, and pizza!

TRiO DC is going to Nashville this summer! This is an all-expenses-paid trip for incoming High School students happening July 25th – 27th.

In observance of Juneteenth (Monday, June 19th), there are no summer camps and all MCUSD#2 offices are closed.


MHS FFA will be holding the Chapter Planning Retreat on Monday, June 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the LIFT building.
They will prepare for the upcoming year, grow as a chapter, and develop leadership skills! All FFA members and incoming freshmen are welcome to join. Lunch will be provided for all the members. Officers need to bring official dress for photos.

On May 24th, MHS hosted the Last Hurrah for the Class of 2023. Thank you to Sweet Teaz, House of Brisket, Taco Amigos, Big Al's, and BYO-Yard Games for coming out! This was a great opportunity for Seniors to celebrate together as a class before they graduated.💚💛

A "before" and "after" showcasing the project that Mr. Gibson's Wave Time class at MHS worked on this past semester. They updated a “nook” in the 600 Hallway to become a place students can sit and work. Students painted and added LED lights, a custom-made seat cushion, and decorative pillows. They also installed lap tables on the walls that students can pull out for use.



Graduation for the Class of 2023 is this evening (5/26) at 8:00 pm. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Graduates need to report to the 200 Hall by 7 pm. Graduation will stream live on youtube on our MHS Greenwave TV channel.

Please note, the Senior Sunset has been canceled due to rain. However, Gary Kepley (Kep's Cooking) and Dustin Salmons (First Class Wrecker) will now be giving out complimentary hot dogs at the Regional Soccer Match at MHS starting at 6:00 PM this evening (5/19).
All are welcome to come and grab food while supplies last to celebrate the class of 2023!

The parents of the Class of 2023 are hosting the Senior Sunset Event this Friday (May 19th) in the Riddle Elementary West Parking Lot from 6:30-8:30 PM. This event is for Seniors.
Hot dogs, snacks & drinks, music, and yard games will be provided.
Bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit and enjoy the sunsetting on the Class of 2023!
