Mattoon Middle School (MMS) will welcome incoming 6th-grade students and their families to the school for an orientation event on Tuesday, April 29, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
The evening will begin I the Wildcat Gym, where MMS administration will speak, and the 6th-grade teachers will be introduced. Afterward, participants will be divided into groups for the remainder of the evening.
Students and families will have the chance to meet teachers, explore opportunities in clubs, sports, and academics, tour classrooms, and participate in a scavenger hunt around the school.
This orientation offers an exciting opportunity for incoming students to get familiar with their new school, learn about the various programs available, and feel confident as they prepare for the upcoming year.
