Required Trainings
Employees need to complete the following required ISBE trainings. In order to save time, we have created a web-based portal in which you can conduct these trainings. Please go the Global Compliance Network Link and (Log On Instructions) complete the trainings listed below:
Effective for the Start of the 2024-2025 School Year:
New and Updated ISBE Required Trainings in accordance with Public Act 103-0542
(Additional New Trainings and Current Trainings only have to be completed once every five years starting starting the 24-25 school year (i.e. the 24-25 school year would the first year of the 5 year cycle for trainings)
If you are a new employee in the District this year, you are required to complete all of the trainings listed that pertain to you (i.e., certified or classified). If you completed the training last year, you need to only complete the trainings that are annually required (Highlighted). If you completed trainings in prior years, you will need to review the required column below to determine what trainings you will need to complete for this school year. You can check your individual GCN account to verify the last time you took any of below listed trainings.
Once you have completed the training, the Human Resources Office will be notified electronically and file your certifications. It is highly recommended that you obtain a copy of your certifications as well.
