The Board of Education of the Mattoon Community Unit School District #2 will hold a Public Hearing Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at the Board of Education Office, 1701 Charleston Avenue, Mattoon, Illinois. The purpose of said hearing will be to receive public comment on a proposed waiver application of 105 ILCS 5/10-20.12a to allow district employees’ children who are non-resident pupils to attend the schools of the district tuition free.
