Williams student, Evie - Junior National Young Leaders Conference

MATTOON, IL – This summer, Evie Shafer from Mattoon IL, will join outstanding Middle School students from across the nation to take part in a unique academic and career-oriented development experience, Junior National Young Leaders Conference in Washington D.C.

Junior National Young Leaders Conference is one of the Envision by WorldStrides family of programs (www.envisionexperience.com) that enable students to explore their interests and experience learning beyond the classroom. Evie was nominated to attend the forum by her 5th-grade teacher at Williams Elementary School. Participating in band and choir, Evie also enjoys reading, soccer, art, and is an active member of Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois Troop 2205.

 Evie is excited to explore Washington D.C. and learn positive leadership characteristics to
help her succeed in her own business ventures in the future.
