Liz Schumacher (Mattoon High School Assistant Principal), Brock Goonan (MHS Senior and Owner of Goonan Lawn and Landscape), and Lance Chaney (MHS Junior and Librarian at Mattoon Public Library) were recently selected as 2023 "20 Under 40" recipients by ClassE of Coles County. 20 Under 40 represents a collection of individuals under the age of forty who are making a difference in the community. Twenty people were selected from Coles County and surrounding counties.
