The Riddle Elementary Student Culture Team would like to extend a heartfelt invitation to veterans and their loved ones for a very special Veterans Day Parade and Social Gathering on Friday, November 7, 2025 at Riddle. Arrival time is 1:00 p.m., with the ceremony and parade beginning at 1:30 p.m.
Riddle is excited to recognize and celebrate the incredible courage, service, and sacrifices made by the men and women of our armed forces. This event is open to all veterans, whether they have served in times of peace or conflict, at home or abroad. This day is dedicated to showing our deepest appreciation.
Students have been learning about the significance of Veterans Day and the importance of service. They have prepared songs, presentations, and special tributes to honor our veterans. This event provides students the opportunity to connect with local heroes and gain a deeper understanding of the true meaning behind the holiday.
Veterans are welcome to bring photos, uniforms, medals, or memorabilia they would like to share during the gathering.
Following the parade and ceremony, veterans are invited to a social gathering with light refreshments, where they can meet students and other veterans from our community. This day is one of the most meaningful events on our school calendar, and Riddle Elementary is truly honored to celebrate it with the individuals who have made such a profound difference in our world.
