Williams Elementary, Riddle Elementary, and Franklin Preschool will celebrate Dr. Seuss Week March 2–6 in conjunction with Read Across America. The weeklong event is designed to promote a love of reading while giving students fun opportunities to show their school spirit.
Each day will feature a special dress-up theme inspired by the imaginative world of Dr. Seuss.
Monday, March 2 - “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!”: Dress for your future career or wear a college shirt of your choice.
Tuesday, March 3 - “Terrific Hat Tuesday”: Wear a fun hat.
Wednesday, March 4 - “Wacky Wednesday”: Dress wacky!
Thursday, March 5 - “Thing 1 and Thing 2 Thursday": Wear red and blue!
Friday, March 6 - "Fun Sock Friday": Wear crazy socks!
Families are encouraged to help students participate and join in the excitement as the schools celebrate Dr. Seuss Week together.
