Mattoon Community Unit School District #2 honored its retirees during the annual Retirement Breakfast held on May 21, 2026, at Riddle Elementary School. School board members presented awards to the eight retirees in attendance in recognition of their years of dedicated service to the district.
Superintendent Tim Condron served as master of ceremonies for the event. Retirees were invited to share memories from their time in Mattoon, and a special tribute video was shown in their honor.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the eleven 2026 retirees for their commitment to our students, staff, and community, and wish them all the best in their retirement.
