The Mattoon High School Greenwave JROTC Battalion is proud to announce that its annual JROTC Car Wash Fundraiser raised a total of $1,489.00 in donations for the American Cancer Society.
The event, held on Saturday, August 22, brought together community members and MHS JROTC cadets to support cancer research, patient support services, and national prevention efforts.
The Greenwave Battalion extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone in the Mattoon community who stopped by to have their vehicles washed and contribute to this meaningful cause.
A special thank you goes out to the entire KC Summers Dealership team. Their continued annual partnership and generous use of their facility make this event possible year after year, giving cadets a hands-on opportunity to demonstrate the JROTC values of leadership and selfless service.
Through the hard work of the cadets and the generosity of local supporters, this year's car wash was an overwhelming success, proving once again the powerful impact of the Mattoon community coming together for a great cause.
