The Mattoon CUSD #2 Board of Education encourages families and community members to join us as upcoming Board meetings move into our schools throughout the 2026–27 school year. These meetings provide an opportunity to visit our schools and see firsthand the programs, projects and learning taking place across the District.
In addition to attending the meeting, community members may have opportunities to tour the building, hear from student leaders, learn about what students are working on and see some of the programs and facility improvements taking place.

Tuesday, October 13, 2026 I 6:00 PM: Mattoon High School
Tuesday, November 10, 2026 I 6:00 PM: Riddle Elementary School
Tuesday, February 9, 2027 I 6:00 PM: LIFT Central Illinois
Tuesday, March 9, 2027 I 6:00 PM: Franklin Preschool
Tuesday, April 13, 2027 I 6:00 PM: Williams Elementary School
Please note: Livestreaming will not be available for Board meetings held at school buildings. Livestreaming will resume when Board meetings are held at the District’s Board Office.
The District encourages families and community members to take advantage of these meetings as a way to connect with the schools and learn more about the work happening throughout Mattoon CUSD #2.
