LIFT Central Illinois will honor area First Responders on Friday, September 11, marking the 25th anniversary of 9/11.
First Responders are invited to stop by LIFT anytime between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. for free food and beverages provided by the LIFT Culinary Program.
Throughout the day, LIFT students and staff will also participate in the annual 9/11 Stair Climb Challenge. The event honors the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, while recognizing the First Responders who continue to put themselves in harm’s way each day to protect and serve their communities.
