Mattoon CUSD #2 students will participate in the district’s annual Green and Gold Day of Service on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. This year, MHS families, alumni, and community members are also invited to join students in giving back to the community.
Ideas for ways to participate include:
Partnering with an employer on a service project
Picking up litter or helping with yard work
Donating items to a local food pantry
Writing cards for first responders
