Students and staff at LIFT Central Illinois took part in the annal 9/11 Stair Climb Challenge on September 11, honoring the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001.
The stair climb was part of a daylong effort by LIFT to express gratitude to local emergency personnel. Throughout the day, area first responders were invited to stop by for free beverages prepared by the LIFT Culinary Program.
Participating in the stair climb has become a meaningful tradition for the LIFT community, serving as a dedicated time to reflect and keep the spirit of remembrance alive.
