Mattoon High School B.I.O.N.I.C. Mentors attended a full day of leadership training at Eastern Illinois University. Students learned leadership skills from class modules and guest speakers (EIU Basketball Coaches: Marty Simmons and Quinn Peterson, MHS Principal: Richard Stuart, and EIU Dean of Education: Dr. Laretta Henderson and Dr. Stephen Lucas). They also partook in group team building activities that included an escape room and a campus scavenger hunt.
