Mattoon Community Unit School District 2 recognized its retirees at the annual retirement breakfast May 24, 2022 at Riddle Elementary School. School board secretary Susan Braun and school board member John Hedges attended to present awards to the 16 retirees who attended the breakfast. Supt. Tim Condron served as master of ceremonies. The retirees were given the opportunity to share their memories of their years at Mattoon.
