Staff members buys a pet rock from the student ran market place

Mrs. Hawbaker and Mrs. Simpson's Multi-Age classes wrapped up an economics unit with Market Days the last week of school. Students made digital video ads to play at their booth, digital catalog entries, and set their own prices.

The students created their very own products to market and sell to the rest of the school.
Hosted outside of the library, the students set up their booths and sold their very own handmade products to students and staff.

Products available varied from clay figures, painted pet rocks, and bracelets to hand-drawn coloring books, comics, paper snappers, bookmarks and even a student-made mini movie.
The product producers voted to donate their earnings to Veterans AND back to the school.  They are donating a whopping $356.55 to the Riddle PTA and another $356.55 to the local Mattoon VFW.
