Mattoon CUSD #2 Announces Elizabeth Schumacher as the new Mattoon High School Assistant Principal.
Mrs. Schumacher worked in the Mattoon district from 2016-2022 as a math teacher and team lead at the high school. She was also an Assistant Girls track coach for 5 years and an Assistant Cross Country coach for 3 years.
When asked what she's looking forward to Schumacher stated, "I am incredibly proud to have the opportunity to serve the students and staff of Mattoon High School as Assistant Principal alongside an incredible administrative team this year. I am committed to continual improvement in the attainment of high standards and challenging goals for our students. Our students have bold aspirations and dreams. We must never allow them to settle for good instead of great."
