Students and families are invited to meet acclaimed nonfiction author Chris Barton during a special public event on February 23 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Williams Elementary School.
Barton, known for popular titles such as Shark vs. Train, What Do You Do With a Voice Like That?, Whoosh!, and Dazzle Ships, will visit with readers, sign books, and celebrate with prizes and refreshments. The event is open to the public, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
This event is sponsored by Mattoon CUSD #2 Title 1, and Williams, and Riddle Elementary Libraries.
