First and second grade students recently participated in the Read Bowl at Williams Elementary School. After four weeks of reading, the class that read the most books by the end of the fourth quarter (to go along with the "Big Game") won a trophy and a special snack.
Mrs. Bell’s class read 194 books.
Mrs. Moore’s class read 163 books.
Miss Wetzel’s class read 149 books.
Altogether, students read hundreds of books, demonstrating dedication, teamwork and a love of reading.
