The Skyward annual updates are completed and you can once again access the platform to register your student for the 2023-2024 school year at mcusd2.org/register
In addition, the new and improved Skyward Mobile App will be released the week of 7/24/23. Mobile users will only need to update their Skyward App when prompted. Users should not experience any disruptions outside of the update and you may continue using the app for day-to-day tasks. 📱
The new Skyward Mobile App provides several enhancements for end users:

Open Interviews for Elementary School Supervisors are being conducted this week on July 17th, July 19th, and July 20th. 🤝💼

MMS Summer Band Camp will be held July 17-22. All 7th and 8th MMS band students are expected to attend Summer Band camp unless previously

Today we say goodbye to our Middle School Principal, Mr. Pugh, as it was his last official day working for our district. While it’s tough to see him leave, we are proud to see him move on, as he will become the Superintendent at another area school. Help us wish him the best of luck in his new role! He is pictured with students and staff members from Spirit Week in May on "Dress Like Principal Pugh" day.

In observance of Juneteenth (Monday, June 19th), there are no summer camps and all MCUSD#2 offices are closed.
On Friday, April 28th MMS Student Council & NJHS attended the Special Olympics Spring Games at Eastern Illinois University's O'Brien Stadium. It was such a rewarding experience for all our students and they enjoyed being able to help out at the event. Congratulations to all the athletes who competed and were brave in the attempt that day!
Wildcat Basketball Open Gyms begin today. This is open to incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade girls at MMS.

Our Summer School meals are open to ANY child, age 0-18, breakfast and lunch Monday - Friday! These meals are available during camp sessions at the elementary schools and middle school.
Elementary Sites:
Now-June 23 | July 10-28
Breakfast: 8:10-8:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11:15-11:35 a.m.
MMS Site:
Now-June 30 | July 10-13, 17-20
Breakfast: 8:15-8:45 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30-11:45 a.m.
Reminder: there is no school on June 19th so meals will not be available on this date.
