February WaveMakers
Megan Irizarry, MHS Teacher

"She's always helping out students and staff members. She works really hard. She always makes me smile, even on hard days.
She's helped me overcome my anxiety a lot. When my friend would leave for lunch she would eat lunch with me because she knew how scared I was to eat alone."
Kenzlie Plummer, Franklin Preschool
"On a daily basis, she shows how her kindness, empathy, and consideration can be used to lead. I watch her assist other students in difficult tasks, use her words to communicate her thoughts and feelings, and treat others with love and respect.
Alongside her leadership abilities, Kenzlie also excels academically. She has put in the time and effort to be able to identify all uppercase and lower letters, count to 49, and write her name independently."
