A lot of progress has been made in the last couple of weeks at the 2024 Building Trades home. Last week, students prepared the subfloor to lay down vinyl flooring in the laundry room and engineered hardwood in the kitchen, dining room, and living room. They also applied knockdown texture in the garage and began painting the walls and ceilings. π
This week, they have started installing doors, painting, and installing baseboards, window casing, and finishing the engineered hardwood. They have also completed much of the wiring. π
We are thankful for the opportunity these students have to make a difference in this community and be a part of building a beautiful home for some lucky family! π¨βπ©βπ¦
