Mrs. Ruppert and Ms. McCoy's classes at Williams Elementary School recently participated in a blanket-making and donation project for The Haven. This project was dreamed up by Mrs. Ruppert's 2nd graders, and they graciously invited Ms. McCoy's class to join in on the project. 🌟 🤝 🎉
After generous donations from students' families, the students worked to cut and tie over 65 blankets to donate to The Haven! 💖 We are so proud of them for seeing a need and using their leadership to make such a positive impact in our community. It is undeniable proof that even our youngest leaders can make a HUGE difference! 👧👦
Chris Davis from he Haven expressed gratitude, saying,, "We are extremely thankful for the blanket donation, the passion, and kindness shown. I truly believe these young people are world changers, and I appreciate their authenticity." 🙏

Students in Ms. McCoy's class at Williams Elementary School recently completed a 100 book drive for One Stop Community Christmas. 🎁📚
Ms. McCoy stated, "I am so proud of my students. This all began with a student noticing the book box at the front of their building was empty. From there, the class discussed the importance of programs like One Stop and how much brighter it can make someone's holiday season. The students then took it upon themselves to share this information with their families and a challenge was born! I love their kind hearts and how they strive to make the world a better place." 💚💛
Great work to everyone involved in this project! 👏
