Williams Elementary multi-age (4/5) classes (McCoy & Schafer) recently had a demonstration from Coles-Moultrie Electric Cooperative. A lineman came in to teach the students about the process of fixing a downed wire and the safety equipment they have to wear, daily. We appreciate him taking the time to teach the students a little more about his career! 🙌

IF you would like to receive text alerts from the school, please opt-in "Y" to the Mattoon School District alerts message.
The second alert is a nationwide test of the Wireless Emergency Alert System from FEMA and FCC that will involve all consumer cell phones and take place later this afternoon at approximately 1:20 PM CST. This message is not from the school.
This test is to ensure that the systems continue to be effective means of warning the public about emergencies, particularly those on the national level. 📱
