๐ฃ SMS Update: ๐ฃ
You'll receive two alerts today to your mobile device. One alert was sent at approximately 10 AM CST to opt in for our school alert system. This will say it's from Mattoon School District alerts. ๐ฑโ๏ธ
IF you would like to receive text alerts from the school, please opt-in "Y" to the Mattoon School District alerts message.
The second alert is a nationwide test of the Wireless Emergency Alert System from FEMA and FCC that will involve all consumer cell phones and take place later this afternoon at approximately 1:20 PM CST. This message is not from the school.
This test is to ensure that the systems continue to be effective means of warning the public about emergencies, particularly those on the national level. ๐ฑ

Paras also attended in a separate group. A shout-out to EIASE for helping with this training.

A shout-out to The Fellowship Center for their recent donation. They held a collection for school supplies for students in need at our elementary schools. We appreciate their donation and thoughtfulness. ๐ซถ
