Youth Soccer registration for 4th and 5th graders opens on August 18th. If you have students in that age group that are interested, be sure to get their physicals as soon as possible! 📑 The actual season will begin on September 5th. More details to come! ⚽️

Students are invited to participate in a Chromebook Exchange! 💻 Grades 3-12 can either exchange their old Chromebook & charger for a new device OR purchase their old device for $25 and receive a new device. Cash or checks can be made payable to MCUSD2. 💸 MMS students will have the opportunity to exchange tomorrow (Friday, August 11th) from 11:30 - 1:00 PM. If your student is unable to attend, they will exchange their Chromebook the first week of school. 🏫 Grades 3-5 and MHS students can also participate in the exchange at the beginning of the school year. 🧑‍🏫 Email mattoontech@mcusd2.com for questions and more information. 📧

Save the Date for Elementary Orientation & the Franklin Preschool Open House! Elementary Orientation will be held for grades 1-5 on Tuesday, August 15th from 6:00-7:30 PM at Williams and Riddle. Kindergarten Orientation will be scheduled by appointment on August 15th & 16th. Parents and guardians will receive a letter in the mail including their appointment time and their child's teacher. At the orientation, students will meet their teacher, see their classroom, and get a preview of the year! Please call the main office with any questions. The Franklin Preschool Open House will be held on Thursday, August 17th, from 6:00-7:30 PM. Tour the school, meet the teachers, and take a ride on a school bus!
